Old Farm has a population of 4500 patients and is set in a more deprived area of Paignton, hence a predominance of younger patients / families with particular health and social care needs. We have good links with local services to help us serve our patients as effectively as possible, in particular with the local charity ANODE (www.anodecharity.org.uk). There is a longstanding strong emphasis on “self management” of chronic conditions.
Dr Mark Thompson is the trainer and works on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with other days supervised by Dr Bullen & Dr Graham. He's a Wolves fan and is married with 2 sets of twins (yes...2!)

We’re a well-established teaching and training practice (year 2 and 4 medical students and GP Registrars) and our focus is on a supportive and close knit team.
As a practice we are friendly, innovative and we want to keep the care of our patients and our team at the centre of what we do. We are keen to help our Registrars develop their individual interests and meet their learning needs.
We have a list of 10,500 and use emisweb and are involved in the care provided at the community hospital in Brixham. The practice has a long history of excellent QOF achievement and participates in a wide range of enhanced services.
Finally, you will probably know that Brixham is a community in a beautiful part of Devon with ready access to the sea, river and countryside and if it’s relevant, there are excellent schools with Churston Grammar close by!
